On Saturday, November 13th, Gayle, Melanie, and friend Andi Pervinich, gave Melissa and baby Caleb a sweet jungle-themed shower. It was attended by several family on both sides as well as friends of ours and Melissa. The shower was held at Harper Church to accomodate the group of people.
The ladies made delicious appetizers and cupcakes. We played a couple of games. For one, they asked the guests to bring coins to equal their age. Everyone put their "age coins" into a cute monkey bank and we all guessed how much money was collected. I believe it was between $20-25. This money went into a little fund for Caleb! Another game involved guessing how much money a variety of baby items cost. These items were then presented to Melissa for future use! All the guests wrote words of wisdom and advice for the new parents.
Baby Caleb will be one well-dressed little guy! He received so many great outfits as well as several other things a new baby needs!
Gayle, Melanie, and Andi outdid themselves in giving Melissa and Caleb a wonderful shower!
