Crewman Qualified

Ryan just finished one of his two yearly Coast Guard weeks. He was busy learning law enforcement tactics, but probably his biggest accomplishment was becoming crewman qualified. I wasn't sure what that meant, but he said he had to take two written exams (one he had to get over 85% and the other he had to score over 90+%) plus he had to do a 5 hour oral board exam. I'm very proud of him!
