Yesterday was a treat having Kyle, Melissa, and Ryan over for the day. It would have been complete with Alyssa up, but Ryan left early this morning for South Carolina for two weeks, so she is at home. It was a delightful day of fun and food. The Hancocks, Wilsons, Ryan Boyett and his girlfriend Christy joined us for dinner and a dismal Huskies game. I relished in the laughter and fun. It was bittersweet as I don't get to hear that as often with both kids living away from Port Orchard.
I am so grateful that both Melissa and Ryan and their spouses get along so well and enjoy getting together. The fact that they all still want to hang out with the "old folks" is great for us, too! Our kids have wonderful in-laws so it makes it an extra special blessing.
