Dave and I went down to Salem this weekend to visit Ryan and Alyssa since they'll be spending Christmas in Bend. We had a delightful time! We visited Ryan at Target on Friday night when we got in. The next morning they met us at the Residence Inn and we made our way north to Clackamas, getting a little shopping time at the Clackamas Town Center. My sister Karen and nephew Michael joined us at the mall, then for lunch at Claim Jumper. It was great to see them, too. We stopped off at a Target to get Ryan and Alyssa a TV for Christmas. Afterwards, we made our way back to Salem for the Starlight Parade in the downtown area. We capped a fun day off by going back to Ryan and Alyssa's apartment to see how they've got it decorated. They did a cute job! Their 1st tree is beautifully decorated and they have some Christmas touches throughout their apartment. They opened their stocking gifts from us and we finished off the evening with a couple of games of Rook, which is turning into one of their favorite games!
