Dave and I got to spend a wonderful Valentine's weekend with our kids down in Portland. We all met at the Holiday Inn in Wilsonville - a very nice hotel with a big area to talk and play games. Saturday found us eating at two places visited by the "Man V Food" show. The first was the Stepping Stone Cafe in downtown Portland. It's famous for their "mancakes" (see Ryan's stack of 3 in the picture!) Later we waited in a long line to get a donut at Voodoo Donuts, also a stop by the TV show. They have unique donuts. We all enjoyed a dinner at an Italian restaurant at Bridgeport Village. The evening ended back at the hotel where we played Golden Ten Rook - turning into a family favorite game. Ryan and Alyssa had to leave about 4 a.m. this morning as Ryan had to go to work.
