Ryan found out on Monday that he got the job at Verizon in Bellevue! It will be the same position in financial services as Kyle has. Not only is it a salaried position, but he gets full benefits, a 401K, and yearly bonus. Ryan had a phone interview two weeks ago with someone in Salt Lake City. The interview went well and he was asked to come up to Bellevue for a test and possible 2nd interview. This happened last Wednesday. He passed the test, got a 2nd interview, then the waiting. Verizon called on Monday and Ryan accepted! Ryan and Alyssa found an apartment, Pebble Cove, just down the street from Kyle and Melissa in Renton. They even toured Valley General Medical's birthing center, which is also just down the street from their apartment.
Dave and I will head down to Salem next Friday after work and help them pack for their move to Washington. Ryan's first day of training is March 22nd.
