Christmas 2011

.
We had two Christmas celebrations in our home. One was with the young Ness family the weekend before Christmas since they were heading down to Bend to spend the holiday with Alyssa's family. What a difference a year makes with Kai! Last year at 4 months old, he was totally unaware of Christmas. This year he had fun opening his presents and playing with his brand new toys! He is a careful present unwrapper...not what I was expecting out of a toddler! It was a joy spending time with Ryan, Alyssa, and Kai during the Christmas season! We had the young Hancock family over on Christmas Eve and Day, getting to witness Caleb's 1st Christmas at 11 months old! He, like his cousin Kai, enjoyed carefully unwrapping his gifts. We gave both Kai and Caleb the personalized plates and boy, did the boy on the plate look just like each of the little guys! We had my parents and the Buckleys over later in the day and Caleb entertained everyone with his scrunchy smile faces and raspberries! You could tell he was well aware that he was the center of attention and relished in that knowledge! What a blessing from God to have 2 special grandsons to share the day we celebrate Christ's birth
