Amazing!

This morning our Haiti team did a presentation at church. The Lord really spoke through all of us. We could tell that people were touched by our testimonies. Thirteen more children were sponsored through the Hope for Kidz program and 16 people picked up applications for the 2009 Haiti team. Dave told the congregation of the needs and troubles that our sister church and other churches around Haiti are experiencing as a result of the devastating storms and hurricanes this summer. RMI will be collecting funds from the U.S. sister churches to be used for food to help our Haitian friends. Harper Church stepped up to the plate in a way that blew our minds! A total of $4,240.00 was raised this morning for the cause!! God was in this in a huge way. We feel it was no coincidence that the timing of our presentation corresponded to the current needs in Haiti.
