Putting up our little Christmas tree in the family room yesterday, it struck me that this will be the last time this tree will look like this. Next Christmas Melissa will be married and the ornaments that she has been collecting since she was born in 1985 will be hers to put on her own Christmas tree. It made me a little sad and nostalgic as I was putting her ornaments on the tree. The ornaments that represent different parts and phases of her life. The Precious Moments baby that she got for her 1st Christmas, the red ball from kindergarten, the ballerina. Before I know it, Ryan's ornaments will, too, be gone with him and we'll have to start with brand new ornaments and memories.
