The first 3 days of the 2009-2010 school year are in the record book. I'm looking forward to a new year. Note to self: Don't plan much the first few days of school. Just putting supplies away can be a major time-taker!!
I feel older every year when I think about the year my students were born!! With this year's group (born in fall 2001-summer 2002), I was 40 when almost all of them were born. All but 2 students were born after September 11, 2001 (one was 1 month old and the other was 4 days old) and nearly every student was born after I had my hysterectomy. Wow!
