On Sunday, September 5th, Karen and I hosted a 50th anniversary open house for my parents. Their real anniversary was August 27th. We had fun planning the event, albeit by long distance! It was a delightful day filled with family and friends. They have so many wonderful friends who came, many I have known for years and it was a pleasure reuniting with them. Aunt Peggy and Uncle Steve graciously opened their home for the occasion. Karen and I put together a 30 page scrapbook chronicling their lives before they were married, their wedding, and several family pages. All in all, a fun day for two charming parents!
