Dave and I, along with Kyle and Melissa, enjoyed a spring break vacation at Disney World. We really missed Ryan and Alyssa, but he was in the midst of his training at Verizon, so unfortunately, they were unable to go with us this time. I already blogged about one highlight - seeing the space shuttle launch on April 5th. We had a fun-filled several days of visiting the parks and enjoying our stay at the gorgeous Hawaiian-themed Polynesian Resort - directly across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom. Picture highlights:
1. The "must have" family picture in front of Cinderella Castle. It was early morning hours at the Magic Kingdom, so we enjoyed a virtually empty MK until the crowds hit in the afternoon. It was nice while it lasted!
2. Seeing this stunning view from the Top of the World lounge at the Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort sure made us glad we added on points at this Disney Vacation Club resort!
3. Love these adorable Mickey and Minnie candy apples!
4. Dave and Melissa recreating their father/daughter "Cinderella" dance in front of a Cinderella topiary at Epcot. We enjoy visiting Epcot during this time of year when the Flower and Garden Show is going on.
5. Melissa posing in front of her favorite animal (a giraffe, in case it's hard to tell!) at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We took Kyle and Melissa to visit this resort and they fell in love with it!
