Turning the calendar to August was full of excitement knowing that this is the month I will become a grandma! Alyssa had an appointment yesterday and is 2 centimeters dilated and when hooked up to a machine monitoring her contractions, it registered 11 contractions in 30 minutes. Kai's head is in the downward position and all systems are ready to go! Now it's the waiting game. Even though he's not technically due for 16 more days, each time the phone rings a little part of me wonders if this is THE call!
